Swans playing with confidence and accuracy.
Unerring goal kicking and some excellent field kicking .
GWS: 40 inside 50s in a half. Score: 7.6 (48).
Sydney: 23 inside 50s in a half. Score: 11.0 (66).
Half time scores, last 3 weeks:
vs Fremantle: 10.5 (65).
vs Essendon: 10.5 (65).
vs GWS: 11.0 (66).
It's our second-highest half time score this season, and the first time we've gone to half time with no behinds since round 10 last year vs Carlton when we had 7.0 (we lost that game 13.9 to 15.12).
11.0 is a new club record for highest half-time score with no behinds.
"Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi final
Can we keep it rolling for a second half
I do think we will have to list our contested work and tackle pressure to finish it off
'Delicious' is a fun word to say
This is mighty impressive by McLean after playing as a ruckman for the past few weeks to come back and to do this against the league’s most informed defence.
This is why we need McLean playing up forward instead of mostly playing in the ruck.
We're doing well considering all the stats that are against us...
GWS are a fast finishing team...so it's all up in the air until the final siren...but I've enjoyed our play so far and whatever happens, it's a great effort all round
Still liking Toby folks?
I think Longmire made a great point in the halftime interview when he said part of the reason for the i50 discrepancy was because we were finishing and they had no kick ins from which we would get some repeat i50s
