Sorted. I spoke to the AFL just now and as of our game this arvo the "sub" will now be known as the
"relief" player. The word "sub" will only be allowed to be used to describe bread rolls with food in them
sold at the game. The AFL agreed it was all getting a bit confusing.

After re-reading the thread, i notice all the posts are from the same person!
    Good work !

I'm saying given the chance Warner or Cleary could be doing the same role.

I don't believe he is owning it, he is ok but not holding anyone out imo.

We have a few fringe players that deserve a shot, when the end of the season comes and clubs pick at players that aren't getting a go, we will know why opportunity is so important.

He has way more speed than either of the two you mention. His pressure is elite.

Here is a statistical quirk with Sam Wicks: he has the sixth highest winning percentage of current players who have played 50 or more games (43 wins, 19 losses: 69.4%). Logan McDonald is third (41-1-16, 71.6%) and James "The Padlock" Jordon is first (61-1-17, 77.8%). These are the three current Swans players in the top 10 of that list.

Speaking of Jordon, an article on him here: 'The Padlock': Lockdown Swan James Jordon making a name for himself in new role.

I'd play Parker in that role ahead of all 3 and they are all faster than him

They can bring different things, hell the others might even bring tackles and goals ? If those stats are still sort after for small fwds.

His pressure is below average but probably just another useless stat

Where can you find individual player pressure ratings?
