Adam's good fortune
AS if the prospect of losing Barry Hall for the grand final was not enough for Paul Roos to worry about yesterday, the Sydney Swans coach would have had a panic attack had he seen the high jinks that almost cost Adam Goodes his place in the biggest game of the year. As Goodes walked off the SCG after training, he spied a young Swans fan in the stands who wanted his photo. Goodes obliged, leaping up on a railing only to slip and lose his footing ? and almost suffer the most embarrassing grand final week injury in the history of the game. His balance restored, Goodes posed for the photo and jumped down, secure in the knowledge that Roos was unlikely to find out about the stunt. Unfortunately for Goodes, our photographer Brett Faulkner was there to catch the whim that almost turned into disaster.
Did anyone see this???
Goodesy, what were you thinking??!!
