These are the matchups we MUST win.

A win on Cox will put enormous pressure on Seaby. A win on Gardiner will take away their forward strength.

Our mf will need to break even, or win (of course), but it's their big men that will be the difference.

Gardiner scares me. We don't have have a natural opponent - B2 and Leapin' are undersized, and our bestest hyphenated buddy may be a little under-confident playing against him, after the other week.

Will be a big part of the game.

Cox has been the only one of those who causes us problems.

Any player at this level can come out and cause grief on any given day.

Dont you think the WCE are worried about any of our players. No point worrying, we just have to go out there and do them like a dinner.

Almost everyone thinks IF we can hold their midfield etc. we might win.

Maybe, just maybe we might be too tough for them on a ground they have not been happy on lately, and blow them to the shizenhouzen.

I notice Terry Wallace said tonight that LRT was "soundly beaten" by Gardiner last time which is commentator speak for "he was bollocksed". So I'm glad someone was watching the game.

The beauty of anyone getting "bollocksed" by Gardiner iis that he kicks two or three goals.

I maintain that, just like the St Kilda game, its all about how many goals we kick down the other end.

I cant see them kicking more than 12, and we need to kick 13-15. As long as we make this happen, we should be right. And the flood of goals can only really come from their midfield. So if we keep it tight all game, and our supply forward is regular, we should be able to win it.

Exactly, If LRT cops another "bollocking" from Gardiner who kicks 2 goals, then get LRT out there on Gardiner I say.

Are you sure? I'm certain I heard Wallsy saying this after he heard someone else say it. So it must be true.

I dont think the Eagles will try to play tall in the forward line. They must have learnt that from the last game. Their tall forwards added very little. Gardiner might have kicked a couple but added nothing else from that. Hansen was very well held. Lynch was getting only a couple of kicks.

The option of having Cox going forward would not worry us. LRT can do a job on Cox if required.

What we are more likely to see is a short and pacy forward line for the Eagles - the very same structure, they used in the fast quarter in Perth.

if gardiner is named, we can be pretty certain he'll be up forwards a fair bit as his rucking days are pretty much over. i guess though that they might be prepared to risk him more in the middle as it's the last game of the season, but if all three big guys are named this afternoon, we'll have a good idea of their forward strategy.
