Calm before the storm

Only three sleeps to go now.

Today has been a pretty quiet day after the Brownlow and tribunal dramas earlier.

From tomorrow it will get into higher gear with the teams being named and the Footy Show.

People will be starting to descend en masse in Melbourne.

From there its the parade and then with about 24 hours to go the countdown will fully be on.

I had to pick up a ticket at the Swans office today. Ran into Jude arriving as I was leaving and wished him well for the weekend. He just broke into a huge grin.

Then I had to go over to the Supa Centre. As I walked in, Brett Kirk (in combat fatigues - the "hippy' tag isn't misplaced) was on his way into the men's. Again, he looked very relaxed (or as relaxed as anyone does when they are chatting when they really want to go to the loo). It's great that the guys are just taking it easy just before what may be the biggest weekend of their lives.
