    Roosy to be sanctioned?

THE Swans must explain to the AFL why coach Paul Roos instructed captain Barry Hall to confront the umpires on the free kick count last Friday night or incur a fine or reprimand.

The AFL yesterday confirmed a please explain letter had been drafted on the three-quarter time incident but it is unknown whether Roos will be sanctioned over his tongue-in-cheek remarks after the game.
Why does it take 6-7 days to draft a letter? Its ridiculous this is coming so late in the week, considering we played on a Friday and there was only one other game.

Perhaps AFL doesn't have enough people that knows how to use a computer!
Maybe they just want to unsettle teh Swans again after Barry got off without being suspended. AFL conspiracy theory still lives!

It's a conspiracy. AFL don't want us to win

Just pay the fine and get on with it. My guess is that Roos won't even see this letter. That would be the smart thing to do anyway!
Looking out for good omens which can bring the Swans the 2007 premiership

Roos is within his right to instruct the captain to approach the umpires and ask for clarification on the decisions, all a storm in a team cup

IIRC, captains are no longer permitted to approach the umpires at 1/4 or 3/4 time. They changed the rule after it began to happen every week.

thats what they said on the couch (i think it was that show), because it was just becomming theatrical and putting too much pressure on umps to help that side out or some rubbish

without putting too fine a point on it..... is that first asterisk an 'o' or a 'u' ?

After watching a replay of the PF game for so many times I noticed that Roos didn't celebrate in his usual way after the final siren (as at the SF game). He must have been upset either with umpiring, which was appaling, or he knew about Barries "love tap", but was pretending not to know about it. Take your pick.

None of the above, he wants to celebrate this week would be a better option.

At worst he'll get a fine - nothing at all to worry about. He'll just keep working on the preparation for Saturday as if nothing even happened.

Oh it's only the AFL! I thought from the title that ROKLob had served Roosy a writ for excessive hubris.

They'll let ******** Colless' PA deal with this tiddler.

As if he would do anything else. It's the a do or die clash and we're getting slaughtered by two little tu#ds with whistles. If it was Round 4, who cares?

That seems like a perfectly appropriate explaination.

How about the Swans sending the AFL a please explain letter about the Frees we don't get, otherwise we'll start legal proceedings!!!!!!!!!!!
