Will Kirky wear the helmet at the starting bounce?

Is a week enough for a massive skin tear to the scalp to heal enough to hold together for a contact sport? I would like to see Kirky wear the helmet from the get-go. We can't afford to have him off in the rooms being patched up in the Grand Final!

Will he be able to stop himself from picking at the scab for the whole game?

If he does, his Norm Smith odds will tumble.

Are tumbling odds good or bad?

Was going to ask that myself Sanecow! I think it is a good thing. Reasoning being that:

        A] Swans will win it

b] Kirk with a helmet on will stand out and attract votes (assuming he plays his usual style of play)

hence odds tumbling = shortening ?

Good, if you want that result to occur. If the odds are getting shorter and shorter, then they are tumbling!

If this is in respect of Kirk wearing a helmet, I believe that Shaun Hart (Norm Smith medal 2001) wore a helmet ...

I thought tumbling == shortening but I didn't follow the reasoning until cowcar gave me the remedial Norm Smith lesson.

That's correct and I would imagine that kirky will be advised to do the same for Saturday's game.

If it puts him a bit more at ease and makes him go harder I'd say wear it.

if we are losing at half time put it on, it may be lucky.

He can wear it back to front and still get 30 possesions, just to provide a point
