Just finished packing... almost time for bed.. Then the early wake-up call.

    It's time

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Many of us here would take seats in the light towers just to be at the 'G.

I arrived in Melbourne on my bike in the rain late Thursday. The Parade yesterday was great - Swannies relaxed, Eagles packing it. Then lunch. drinks, drinks, dinner w Tuesday and Errrin and lots of others. Home late now heading for South Melb brunch then the G.

                Go Swannies!

Basically new-minted fan here (naive Yank discovered AFL & the Swans after visiting Sydney in early August with my Aussie partner) - I've found a pub in San Francisco that's showing it live tonight (west coast US time), so I'm heading there in my Swans jacket!

Good luck to the team, and to everyone here who's headed down to the game. Wish I could be there!

... oh, um, hi everybody, by the way.

Hi Yuri. That's the kind of game that could get you hooked for life.

I cant stop crying! I keep walking around and bursting into tears! WE ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST! Forever - 2005 the year of the Swan, etched in history FOREVER!

Just realised how much I hate the off season now.
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

At least you can go around in the off-season and say that the Swans are the best of the best
