I backed him to win the Norm Smith, @ $151... Thought I was in with a show, winning $1500 would have capped off the day!

Magnificent game by LRT. The ball just seemed to find him yesterday, which shows how much he has improved in the past few months.

I thought he would improve, as he has the athleticism, but it always worried me that he would not develop the football nouse for a very long time. However, I was wrong and he has just improved out of sight in a very short time.

Big plus for us in future. We shouldn't expect too much of him next year though. It's still a steep learning curve for him.

Coming into the match I was really worried that he could be over-awed by the pressure and have a really bad game, he couldn't have proved me any more wrong. LRT YOU BLOODY HERO!!!!!!

A great game, perhaps he could have run and backed himself a couple of times more. "Run! Lewis! Run!"

LOL, I find when I do this it kinda feels like cheering on a 'special kid' at school sports day. No offence to LRT, but thats just the way it feels.

I posted on the Buchanan thread as to how good it is to know that Amon is around for years to come. Ditto for LRT.

For such a person of so little game experience in our wonderful sport, to play with the poise of a veteran under intense pressure againshows that we have young talent at the club to keep at the cutting edge of the competition.

It hard to comprehend that someone's skills could improve so much since 2/3rds of the season had been completed.

What a bloody star of the future this guy is.

Perfect time to have a great game, hey. Yeah! Go LRT!

Never again will i accuse LRT of not being an AFL player. Gone are the days of cheering just because he makes a clean disposable.

I must confess I considered LRT to be the weakness in the
team. His game yesterday proves he is now of AFL
                      standard.

Deserved the Norm Smith as much as anyone else. Well done LRT.

And what about his contribution to THAT mark!

Left his man a few times to follow the flight of the ball which turned out to be the right decision. Did pretty much everything right. Great to have a local hero. Top job!
