My brother isn't going to let this one down he had tickets and follows the Dragons but the rest of his family (wife, children and brother-in-law, etc) all follow the Tigers.
Oh well I'm going to watch the Swans one - negative I agree was not getting to see the team song.
Around dinner time, my wife looked at me and asked why I looked so "normal", she thought I would be more excited. My only answer was that I almost felt upset at having been put through another close one.
I was looking forward to us running away with it in the last quarter ala the prelim. That was very enjoyable.
Ah well, I think I'll play the tape amd the last quarter, watch it without pressure and enjoy it more.
Am I the only one exhausted by another close one????
Looking out for good omens which can bring the Swans the 2007 premiership
My kids had chicken pox and they were all red and white, that's one
Firstly congrats to the 22 on the field today, they showed courage, determination and pure guts.
Just one negative I thought was the fact that there was no acknowledgement given to moore, malseski, schauble, vogels, mcveigh, etc who worked hard all year and have trained all last week even though there season was over they helped carry the boys through. May be im being picky but it took more than 22 players to win this flag.
That we have to wait till midday for the team to arrive back in Sydney j/k
Actually a big negative for me right now is because I'm not a bigpond (or AFL) member/subscriber I can't get access to the video/audio files on afl.com.au
