    Banner

Congratulations banner makers - it was brilliant, brought a tear to the eye. Joined the past to the present, inspirational. And fortunately I could see the bloody thing!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Everyone that I have spoken to loved the banner. Congratulations to whoever was responsible, especially for the "Two cities" wording. It said so much about who we are.

My memories a little hazy... and I never saw one side of the banner. Can someone post the two messages for me?

Side facing me said "Two Cities, One Team, Together, Living the Dream."

The front side (the side the players would see before running through) said "Two cities, one team, together, living the dream". The other side said "You've kept the faith, so this one's for you, Onwards to Victory".

              Oh yeah.

I saw the 'You've kept the faith' side.

I wasn't sure if I liked the banner or not.

Absolute ripper of a banner, just a no nonsense heart felt message to the players and supporters.

Really suited the whole message and theme of the day.

Have to agree, it was fantastic.

Wrapped up the whole sentiment of the day.

great banner, but I was disappointed I didn't get to read either side on the day, given where I was sitting at the ground. A pity the cheersquad didn't hold it at 90 degrees before the team ran out (I assume there wasn't time).

Was it not the perfect time to show both sides to the crowd?
