    message to opposition fans

ive looked online and copped it to my face since the win. Other teams fans, mainly saints going on about us being one of the worst premiership teams and lucky and that stkilda woulda won if they beat us.

Well guess what saints fans, you didnt beat us, so wether you could beat west coast or not we wont ever know, cos your a pack of soft pretty boy overrated tits, except for robert harvey cos he is a legend of the game.

You can all go get nicked

i agree the swans arent full of champions, but we are a champion team and we have a premiership cup.

Also why is every other club fan obsessed with bagging hall, saying he is overrated and a thug?

i guess now he is a premiership captain useless thug

feel free to delete this moderators if im being a poor winner, but ive had a gutful of other trying to take away from this great moment!

Right on mate, with regard to the saints anyway, I think the WC and Geelong supporters have been pretty good. I should mention though that not all saints fans have been sore loosers but most of them. Some of the crap they come up with is unbelievable, oh well sainters only 12 months to go until you get another chance to choke and once again ponder what might have been.

who gives a flying ******** what other supporters say, its just pure jealousy coming out - we won the flag playing to our strengths and limiting the oppositions strengths

i'm also sick of people saying that we flood, its almost as if we're the only ones doing it FFS. i'm sure saints fans would take a flag any way they could and i'm so damn proud of roosy for getting us one.

so i suppose on saturday roosy should have opened the game up to make it a spectacle and given judd, cousins, kerr and embley plenty of space to work with
      Roosy = LEGEND

I dont get Saints fans. Its not like the prelim was a close game. We slaughtered them in the last quarter. And Its not like Barry Halls suspension would have made any difference to the prelim result.

I suspect most of them are very young and still coming to terms with their emotions.

To opposition fans, it shows the difference that finals experience makes. The only side in the 2005 final 8 with more collective finals experience than the Swans were Port. Of the top four, West Coast had not won a final for three years, the Saints were only in the finals for the second year and Adelaide finished 12th last year.

For fans who believe that Sydney are the only side that floods, can you truly be sure your side is so free of sin that you feel justified in casting the first stone? There's not a side in the competition that doesn't "put numbers behind the ball" at some stage. Therefore, suggesting the Swans are the lone pratictioners of that art is not only unfair but also demonstrates your gross ignorance of the game as played by all sides.

For fans of the Dogs and Cats, Demons and Saints, 2005 was our year for the first time in 72 years. Keep the faith! If we Swans fans who have suffered so much for so long can finally rejoice in the spoils of victory on the last Saturday in September, then your time will surely come.

Saints and Cats fans in particular should not view their losses to us in the finals as an ending, but as a part of the journey. The Saints have talented players, but the pain of finals losses will give them the mental toughness they will need to win finals when it counts. And for the Cats fans, you will notice that an Ablett won a premiership medal on Saturday. Your side has two young Abletts, how good is that? If your side does not make at least one Grand Final sometime during the career of these Abletts, you would be very unlucky.

If the current Saints squad does win a flag, I can't wait for them to cop a massive bagging for cheating their way to the top through years of top draft picks.

If ever there would be an unworthy recipient, it would have to be that fat coach of theirs.

Saints supporters have really disgraced themselves with the way they've carried on in the past few weeks.

Definately, I used to see them as loyal, humble football loving people (and some are) but now I see them as a bunch of whinging pussies with no class or dignity. I hope the turds never see another flag.

                            Found this on Saintsational:

                            Sydney flood.
                            Sydney scrag.
                            Sydney won the bloody flag!

                            Last one was thirty three.
                            Next one may never be.
Sydney grabbed their chance you see?

                            "The game's in danger" - utter s***.
                            Roos was smart.

But seriously people, by ripping it up them, you are lowering yourself to that level. We are better than that, we sang and danced in the aisles of the MCG on Saturday, in their city! Thats all you need to worry about... their players don't care, their coach doesn't care and they took the blame.

If we sit here and whinge and gripe about their supporters, we are no better than they are... lets keep it positive hey? This is the best time of our football following lives!
