    Willo

Now that the veteran has won that elusive flag that he was after, do you think he will continue in 2006?

I have a feeling that this will be the last time we have seen him in the red and white and he'll leave the game on a high with jason ball.

i'm having mixed feelings regarding this as i do want him to keep going, but now that we have a flag i wouldnt mind seeing young blokes like moore and malceski getting more chances.

At Punt Rd on Sat night he said the body was feeling good and he was happy to keep playing as long as Roosy still wanted him out there.

He also still has a year left on his contract.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Yeah completely agree but it looks like he's going on for one more year.

i recently read that he's lost a considerable amount of money with his chain of sports retail stores going under. perhaps it is the financial incentive that is making the final decision.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Yes he must stay for his Big 300TH Game(only 6 games to go), then he can go.

With Nicksy, Ball and Schauble already going, and Stuey likely to pull the pin, I think we need Willo to stay around or else we lose far too much experience all in one go.

With these guys going, I cant see us chopping too many others from the list. I think Doyle will definitely stay, and there may be some improved chance for Sundqvist and possibly Fixter to get another year now. And who knows about Heath? A guy like Powelly will surely once again survive the chop. For 3 years Roosy has made minimal changes to the roster, and now that we are champions, I cant see this philosophy change too quickly.

I asked him about that and he said it's a maybe. He's got rid of his limp too.
