    Jealous

Various people I know only vaguely but who went to the grand final, are filtering back into Sydney and are making me extremely jealous that I didnt make a bigger effort and fork out a lot of money to go.

Will this haunt me to my dying days ?

Hopefully not in that next time we're in a Grand Final you will make that effort and we will be bringing home the flag again - just need to make sure we don't have to wait another 72 years!!!

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Do whatever it takes to get there next time. I had a bit of buyers remorse about how on earth I was going to pay off my credit cards.....however, I will be eternally glad that I witnessed my team win the flag.....unbeatable!

ah singapore swan at least you got coverage of the game in asia.

i'm currently in capetown and was forced to listen to the game at an internet cafe at 6:30 am.

Unfortunately i didn't have any drinking partners so i had a couple of celebrationary beers by myself :-( and then got on with my day

Yes - This poor decision will follow you to your grave, you will never live it down nor forgive yourself for it. You will listen on enviously 72 years from now when people talk of how great it was to be at the only swans premiership in living memory. Your gravestone will read: I missed the 2005 AFL Grand Final. To your friends and family you will always be remembered as "That guy that wasn't there to see the Swans drought breaking premiership".

Or maybe as I said to the guy who asked me to reassure him he wasn't missing out by not getting tickets "We will only be at the ground for a few hours, after that you will be in the same position as the rest of us: celebrating the swans first premiership in 72 years".

It was a pretty ordinary game. You didn't miss much really.

I am really jealous that a lot of supporters are still out partying and yours truly is not.

Wish I was still out there having a good time.

Don't be jealous - I was in too much shock to party! Seriously.

I'm glad I went though - the atmosphere in M32-M34 behind the goals at new ponsford end was fantastic, felt like the SCG!

Are you suggesting, I should still be out partying ?

How come you are not out ?

Tell them to go and get stuffed!

or give them the old Matt Mcguire treatment!

Yeah, sounds like a nice little sort of punishment to dish out to the various people who are giving you a hard time.

Nah, be jealous. You should never miss an opportunity to see your team play in a Grand Final cause it may never hapen again in your lifetime.

And I thought M32-34 was amazing - even better than the SCG.
