    Dammit, just missed it.

What was it EXACTLY about, knowing the 7:30 report they do articles from some unique perspectives.

The article they did last week about South Melbourne was particularly interesting.
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

I didn't catch it from the beginning, but where I started watching it from they were talking about our style of play. Then they moved on to what impact the victory would have for the game in NSW. The conclusion was it would be a positive one (duh!) but not to expect the same effect that a Brisbane premiership had there because of the 'saturation' of sports teams here. Tom Hafey also cautioned that the success of the club during his time team fell away pretty quickly once the winning stopped.

There's a bit more substance around the club today wouldn't you think? The psyche of the Edelston/Capper era was far more shallow & brittle than today's.

To me, this win is going a long way towards shaking off that history of pink ferrari's and b(&H)imbos

Which was about two rounds before the end of the season. You didn't win a premiership Tom! But then you are much of an optimist either
