I'm not 100% but pretty sure with the b&f the coaching staff give all the players a rating after each game and then simply tally them up. I'm guessing with the others they just get together at seasons end and make a desicion.Originally posted by Mel

And First year is decided by the same rules as the Rising Star Award - Under 21 at the start of the year (Jan 1 I think they take it as) and less than 10 senior games to their name prior to Jan 1. IIRC they changed it in 2001 after the club only had 2 debutants, and one of them only played one match!Comment
