Does anyone else still find it a bit unbelievable that we actually won? It really felt strange reading this and thinking about the trading period in a different light.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Yeah, instead of trading to build a premiership team we have to try and keep a premiership team together for another tilt."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

Except for very few who were there in 1933, we are in unchartered territory. I feel lost at time which is totally understandable, I guessOriginally posted by NMWBloods

We should approach it in the same way we would if a WCE player had taken the last mark of the Grand Final and kicker the winner after the siren.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I'm starting to think there's as muchs support here for the Tigers as there is for the Swans!
I still find it hard to believe we're the premiers. So many years of disappointment....it's just hard to comprehend!Life's not a spectator sportComment

Absolutely! Couldn't believe it at the time, can't believe it now. I think it's because we didn't play that well (offensively) on the day.Originally posted by NMWBloods

Re trading - I agree they should be pretty hard-headed. Some players may attract better offers now they are 'premiership players'. It would be folly to mark all 21 as untradeable. But it would be wrong to trade more than 1 or 2 - wouldn't want to undermine that great team spirit.Comment
