I have to resurrect this because I haven't been over there for a while but found:
"I went to Australia Post today (I just got back from Melbourne this morning by bus ) to see if they were selling any stamps commemorating Ben Cousins on winning the Brownlow. The lady who I think was the manager looked at me and said "Dont start me on that". Initially I thought they might have sold out but she told me that Australia Post aren't producing any stamps on Ben Cousins (and all future brownlow medal winners) because according to their marketing department it would not be profitable enough even though they are producing stamps commemorating Sydney on being premiers. She along with me was really pissed off and told me to protest to Australia Post against them not selling Ben Cousins stamps so that they could change their minds. So I was thinking that if any of you feel the same as me, maybe we could have a mass protest against Australia Post by emailing them and telling them what we think. She finished by telling me that because they are not producing Ben Cosuins stamps, she is not selling any Sydney Swans stamps
It really is ridiculous because the stamps would sell like crazy in WA and they would definitely outsell the Sydney stamps as well because NSW is a rugby state and only true Sydney supporters would buy them - not those bandwagon jumpers at the grand final (AFL + MCC members)"Comment

Brilliant!
And yes, only a true swans supporter would fork out the 50 cents for a premiership stamp. HAHAHAHALast edited by BayesysLeftBoot; 29 September 2005, 07:07 PM.Comment
