    Roos and his family

If this has been said i apologise again.

But i think its great how roosy involved his family in his work and his kids get to be involved and so close. (that was them after the game right?) Its another indication to me of what a great bloke we have coaching the team.

Also might pay off when the father son rule kicks in :P

Yeah, it's great that he spends time with his kids considering he works most weekends and they are well behaved at news conferences and everything, but fair go, the team photo?!? That was pushing it a bit far.

Roos made it quite clear when he was appointed that the club was hiring the whole Roos family. So that means they with him the whole time.

He is a "left-field" thinker, so things like the rotating captaincy (bagged on here), gameplan (bagged on here) and his preference for/against certain players (bagged on here) are not conventional. Its just the way he is, and considering what he has achieved for the club, its his perogative.

A total joke that was thankfully remedied for the finals.

No it's symptomatic of what won the flag. Like players rotating themselves off the bench - not the coach. Like Baz asking all the leadership group if they were sure that they wanted him to lead right through the finals - and Ben Mathews, who otherwise would have been our Grand Final captain saying "yes". Like the players and Roos acknowledging that without Stewie we wouldn't have won it.

Roos and Stewie have built a whole structure of self believe and every bit of it, like the rotating captaincy, may be equally important in the win. It's why Fossie and LRT can play out of their skins in the Grand Final. And why players run over to support Noggy when he potentially cost us the premiership.

Roos has achieved something remarkable. We just don't get it.

It amazes me that a club that so reveres the number 14 can so disrespect the captaincy.

He can do whatever he likes. He is now officially an "untouchable".
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

Most players in the vicinity during any game would support someone in those circumstances.

its not like the kids are holding the cup up, they seem to be popular with the team. Roos is a genuine bloke and i dont care if he wants the whole family out there if he wins us premiership cups.

I happen to think its nice that family is important in his life, the club is like a family so why not embrace others, the kids would be a bit part of who he is and his performance as coach!

The assistant coaches, runners, trainers etc disappointingly forgot to run on stage. I love it when the suits appear in the circle for the club song too. I wish there was more distraction from the players' achievements. Wouldn't it be great if all the players and staff had their families out there!

its not like he run them on for the first time ever, the club has always known that he will coach with his family being a part of it.

If you watched the premiership presentation and found them distracting then i think your looking too hard for something to complain about! Also who cares if the trainers etc are there for songs, they are a part of the team, not like 22 players work in every part of the club!

i have to admit though i am jealous they get to be there!
