Injuries will be our biggest threat next year. This year was such a dream run that i hope we can maintain for next year.

No, because Brisbane actually have a lot of premiership players - they're just old. That makes their list quite different to Adelaide's, in that Adelaide has a mostly young list and Brisbane has a mostly old one.

There were not that many old superstars to keep the likes of Rutten, Reilly and Thompson out of the Crows senior side. That is the case with Brisbane - they'll still be using their established players where possible.

I'm not saying that Brisbane are going to go very badly - as I said, they're a reasonable chance of making the finals. I just don't see it as a premiership list anymore.

I actually agree with this, except #3 should read KFC

If Nick Davis can become our premier outside midfielder we will start to have a great midfield combination

It's robbing Peter to pay Paul, to some extent. For the same reason, I've gone cold on the idea of using ROK as our lucrative trade bait (that and the fact that he's a premiership player and I want to keep them all ). Of course, you must balance that against the fact that our star studded forward line doesn't get a lot of opportunities because we have such a blue collar midfield. Still, the job gets done.

One think I'd like to see next year is more goals from the midfield. Willo, Jude and Kirky were well down on their usual output this year... especially Willo. If Nick could still kick 20 or more on a wing, it'd probably be a good trade-off. Would create more room for Vogels, too.

            St Kilda and West Coast.

The former just need some heart (and a coach); the latter just need a key forward.

            'Doggies.

            Geelong.

            Adelaide.

            Brisbane.

Dont think North Melbourne got any chance. They have serious structure problem that will take a while to fix (if they get to it). Dont think their time will come anytime in the next few years.

St Kilda, WCE and Adelaide are our main worries I reckon.

                Doggies will be the bolters.

Most of the teams will analyse our style of play so that won't be helpful to us. We won't be unbeatable, but we'll be hard to beat.

Injuries to our defenders and maybe the ruck depending on who is available to replace Ball. On the otherhand the enormous confidence gained from this year should stop them dropping games that in the past they would have.

Fitness and injuries will be a big factor, especially if we stick to the same hard-at-it game plan as this year. Post-Premiership blues in the early rounds could be costly.

There are hormonal patches available for this, unfortunately Port chose the 'holistic' option

Not a threat, more a hope:

I think that with more self belief, we may break more often into the free-flowing game, a-la the last quarter of the prelim. Hand out some real thrashing along the way. Wouldn't that be great to see.

Biggest threats will be whinging from other club's presidents about percieved Sydney favourtism. BTW can anyone tell me how we were 'given' the premiership? By umpires?!
