    Parade Nerves

I woke this morning with a sinking feeling that the parade would be a dud....
Just popped out to Martin Place and can't believe the red and white! How fantastic.
I will be holding a sign telling Jason Ball to play on as Macquarie Bank can do without him for a couple more years!!!!!!!!

Back in office now - makes me a proud curly headed swan girl!

Was fantastic. Players looked quite awed by the level of support! Kirky had huge smile pasted under those Bono glasses of his...

TOPS TOPS TOPS....now bring on 2006!

Was definitely a bandwagon element out there, but everyone has to start somewhere. Seemed like most joined in the Sydney chants, but when it came to Cheer Cheer, there was lots of clapping along without singing...but they will learn in time...

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I forgot to watch it, I was baking 0=). I tuned in at about a quarter to 1, when they were doing speeches. I could've cried.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Huge crowd, great atmosphere, lots of people around Town Hall in Swans gear suggesting it wasnt mostly bandwagonners. A great way to finish the week of GF celebrations.

Great turnout. I was pleasantly surprised.

150,000 bandwaggoners spotted at Town Hall...and it was maginficent!

Just brilliant to see Sydney embrace our boys.

Staggering to think there were only 500 at pre-GF training but oh well, welcome aboard newbies!

Yeah - super day. I wasn't expecting anywhere near the amount of people at the parade - but being a typical Sydney day (re: perfect) lots of people turned up. I just saw the last five minutes of the parade that I taped on my computer and at the very least, the pictures look quite spectacular.

It was a sea of red and white - and a lot then went across the bridge to photograph the flag flying. About now I'd say that the NRL is getting a wee bit worried.

I got some shots from the media area that I probably won't be able to post until early next week. But I asked one of the Town Hall staff how he'd compare the crowd today "Oh, about the same as the Olympic Parade, I'd say" was his reply. For the Swannies!!!

btw what is it with Brett Kirk and the newly dyed hair? Jet black.

It was good to see Kirk and LRT walking up either side of the parade route and high fiving the crowd as they walked along. LRT was wearing a smile as big as the harbour bridge.

I'm really buzzing after the parade. I'm wishing now that I was going to the best and fairest dinner tonight (I've never been one for that kind of thing before). Is there anything else on soon where we can celebrate? I dont want this to end.

                        CHEER CHEER.

Me neither - I've been too bloody emotional to really enjoy the celebrations, and I couldn't even go to the parade! Ah well, I got last week off to go the GF in the first place, so can't complain...

The turnout to the parade was one of most unbelivable things i have ever seen in my life. I kept asking myself "is this really Sydney?"

It was a wonderful way to cap off our year.

Lets hope these bandwagoners know the song by next year!
