A certainly worthy top 3! Congratulations to Kirky on a steller season and to Barry Hall and Craig Bolton (the quiet achiever).

      Certainly agree with that! Congratulations!

Hey... I predicted the B&F, Most Improved and Best Clubman!!!!
Who was best first year player? If it was Dempster... Then I rock!!!!

Some people say Football is a matter of life and death - I say it's a lot more important than that!

Thought it would be close...but well done Kirky! After the finals, I think he's the man to be captain in 2006, with absolutely no disrespect to Barry Hall who has also had a fantastic season. How far back was Craig Bolton? Great to see him get some recognition with a top 3 result.

"In the 2005 club champion count, Kirk polled 575 votes to beat last year's Skilton Medallist Barry Hall by 74 votes.

Craig Bolton capped a magnificent year with 482 votes to take the third placing as one of the season's great success stories. Amon Buchanan finished fourth with 442 votes."

                "Rising Star - Sean Dempster
Most Improved - Buchanan and Luke Ablett
                Players' Player - Barry Hall
                Best Clubman - Jude Bolton
Sydney Gas One Percenter Award - Amon Buchanan"
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

Sensational season from the Captain. From being dumped by Eade mid-2002 to bench warmer in the beginning of 2003 its been a meteoric rise to premiership player 2005. Well done Kirky!

And in a new award, Jared Crouch was named best Finals player.

Jared Crouch was voted as the inaugural winner of the Paul Roos Best Finals Player Award, finishing with 119 votes over the four weeks of the finals. He beat Buchanan by 10 votes with Craig Bolton four votes away in front of Leo Barry who was two votes further afield.

Just amazing - that isn't a cliche anymore, we can really say that about them now! Incredible to believe, the premiership is taking time to sink in.

Monty is the real story out of this - 4th in the B&F, Equal Most Improved, and best one percenter! All this after being delisted and redrafted - congratulations Monty, we couldn't have won the grand final without your efforts.

I'm really pleased that Craig Bolton came 3rd. Oh how Leigh Matthews must regret letting him go.

I just heard Leigh say that on the GF replay (again) - He said that Craig had come on in leaps and bounds and he'd love to have him back (or words very close to that effect)
