Doing our bit to restore order in Afghanistan

Those soldiers are based near Camp Russell, which was named in honour of Sgt Andrew Russell, a Swanbourne-based SAS soldier who died after his long-range patrol vehicle hit a landmine in western Afghanistan in February, 2002.

Despite the hot, dusty environment, there are still some creature comforts.

A special broadcast of the AFL Grand Final between the West Coast Eagles and Sydney Swans was arranged last weekend.
