    Sos

Word on the street is that Silvangi knocked back a part time assistant coaching role at Collingwood in favour of expanding his role with the Swans and providing further defensive coaching work with LRT and Co.

Great to see we are at a position as a club to entice master craftsman such as Silvangi to tutor the young ones.

What would be the point of tutoring collingwood players anyway? Like the old saying goes: You can't polish a t***!

LOL....speaking of those things, did anyone catch Eddie in the dark glasses and the Armani suit at the 3AW stand on GF day...couldn't help having another go at the swans and Nick D.
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Oh just the usual....he congratulated the swans and weagles for getting to the GF, but added that the weagles had got there without outside help...he also mentioned congratulations to schaubs...and then said but not Nick Davis....laugh...then begrudgingly said through gritted teeth yes, and to Nick as well. It was just the same old tired Eddie....
Mind you, my wife thought he looked really dapper in the armarni and sunnies....I thought he looked a d*ckh**d.

              I saw it.
The first question he was asked was by Trevor Marmalade and was something along the lines of what it was like to be at the grand final and not playing.
He said he was happy to see both teams in the grand final but was happier for West Coast 'because they had built their team from the ground up without any outside assistance' or something like that.
He then said he was happy for Paul Williams and wished him well in the grand final - but not Nick Davis.

Got to love old "Save our Serge". Would have been a Swan but for his old man. Always barracked for us as a kid apparently.

Mick McGuane knocked back the position too. I wonder when Eddie will get the message.

West Coast did get a priority pick in the super draft of 2001 though and picked up Judd and Sampi. You could argue that any team which gets priority picks is getting a little bit of help along the way.

I don't actually understand what outside help we have got (since the dark days of the early nineties of course)? other than being allowed to spend more thanks to living expenses?

The way he talks, you would think that the swans were the only team in an AFL mad city that was draining the AFL of billions of dollars in a mad conspiracy to give us a premiership.

But you can't argue with him - considering the 1 club for life players that they have like Nathan Buckley, Brodie Holland, Shane Woewodin, Blake Caracella, Chad Morrison, Anthony Rocca , Shane Wakelin, Paul Licuria etc....they really have proved that they have built their team from nothing and we should be ashamed of ourselves for ever trading for players.

How dare we win a premiership like that

thats awesome news for us if SOS can give our defense some one on one tips. it was very clear to see the improvement in LRT after their sessions

as for fathead macguire, i dont know why he bothers bagging us. i suppose getting a priority pick is alright though
