    famous swans games

Can anyone remember the three consecutive games where the swans kicked high scores around 200 points

i.e. What year, what round, what teams?

I want to try and see if these games are available anywhere on video...would make a great triple pack!!!

I know essendon was one...and I think richmond was another

I was there....the Essendon game was THE best.....I think that grinding the bummers to a pulp is almost as enjoyable as winning a premiership... It fills me with the same emotions....
Weagles was the other one. And if I recall we started the year with a 90-odd point thrashing of the pies, so get that one on DVD too, if you can!

West Coast, Essendon and Richmond. I went to all three games. It was magical stuff. Those three big wins came after a succession of other good wins. We felt unbeatable after the Richmond game. Then, as Sanecow pointed out, came the crash.

Its the best of the three. My hands were red raw from clapping so many goals. Of course, back then we use to clap points too (that was a joke - hey, who stole the rolling eyes smiley?)

I remember watching the Essendon game at the Geebung Polo Club hotel in Hawthorn (Melbourne) with two Essendon supporters, one whom I liked, the other who I despised.

                      Was a very enjoyable afternoon!!!

Managed to see all three of them live, only the last three games of this year can stack up to that run.

Same in that I saw all three live. I had only started watching live AFL games the year before, and those three were classics to be sure. But my dad and I walked out after the Richmond game thinking it was too much too soon... and we were correct.

I was at the Eagles game with my dad. Even he was enjoying it. The Eagles Cheer Squad was in front of us in the MA Noble Stand. I recall them trying to get a chant going only to get scowls from everyone. Then the Swans Cheer Squad (in their Milo sloppy Joes) spent the rest of the day buying them drinks.

I recall that they played "Show Em Sydney" every minute or so too. I bet the Swanettes were stuffed that day as well.
