    The question I want answered....

    what on Earth did Paul Roos say at 3/4 time on ANZAC Day?

    Whatever it was... the players are inspired. After the matches, the celebrations have been no bigger than normal, despite the incredible performances in each game. There's a sense of purpose, determination, intensity about the Swans all of a sudden. What has unlocked this ability and heart we've seen the last three weeks?

    And, perhaps most importantly.... can it last? The way we are playing at the moment, we would win the flag if the GF was tomorrow. Can we keep it up?

    Just some ponderings now that I've had 24 hours to digest the win...
    We hate Anthony Rocca
    We hate Shannon Grant too
    We hate scumbag Gaspar
    But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

      $10 million question indeed, Charlie...

      It's all about confidence and self-belief. The ability to keep a cool head in a crisis (ie: Q3 vs Bris and Q4 vs Coll). The knowledge that a lot of footy is played above the shoulders. Knowing how to maximise damage when you have it, and minimise damage when you haven't. I haven't got a clue how it started, but I hope it continues!!! The problem is that form and confidence are funny things to understand... We could lose the next 5 matches and we'd be asking a whole lot of other questions. On our day we're good enough to beat ANYONE. Just have to make sure each day IS our day

      177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

          As Jeansy used to say, it is about minimising the gap between your best and your worst. The Lions have been outstanding at that over the past 3 years. Their losses are few and far between.

          I think we are still on the roller coaster so we probably need to expect some more downs and hell, we're Swans supporters so we already have a healthy level of pleasant disbelief at this stage!

          I can't help thinking how much we actually could have hammered them by if we converted some of those easier ones and kept our run going in the 3rd quarter.

          This brings me to the next question. Is our running game going to be TOO taxing in the long run? Right now it is working but do you think we have the stamina to develop it into a permanent style?
