It'll be all good, the season doesn't start until April... Crouchie broke his collarbone, had issues with it and still made it back for the start of the season! Davis is a good inclusion...

        Weak team.

Where's Hall, Goodes, and all the other big names of the game ?

Its starting to smell like State of Origin before it collapsed.

and was still giving it the occassional rub throughout the finals series.

          please, no injuries.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

I'm pretty chuffed for Nicky D. A nice pat on the back for him.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

The squad: Heath Black (Fremantle), Amon Buchanan (Sydney), Trent Croad (Hawthorn), Aaron Davey (Melbourne), Nick Davis (Sydney), Brett Deledio (Richmond), Nathan Eagleton (Western Bulldogs), Dustin Fletcher (Essendon), Daniel Giansiracusa (Western Bulldogs), Lindsay Gilbee (Western Bulldogs), Shannon Grant (Kangaroos), Brent Harvey (Kangaroos), Luke Hodge (Hawthorn), Chris Johnson (Brisbane Lions), Matthew Lappin (Carlton), Andrew Lovett (Essendon), Andrew McLeod (Adelaide), Troy Makepeace (Kangaroos), Darren Milburn (Geelong), Brent Moloney (Melbourne), Dale Morris (Western Bulldogs), Chris Newman (Richmond), Ryan O'Keefe (Sydney), Russell Robertson (Melbourne), Jarrad Waite (Carlton), Daniel Wells (Kangaroos).

Croad, Gilbee, Grant, Harvey, Hodge, Johnson, McLeod, Robertson and Wells are the AFL stars in the team.

Buchanan, Davey, Davis, Deledio, Lovett, Moloney and O'Keefe strike me as players who will do well in the IR series. So will Fletcher - he looks easily the most likely goalkeeper, although Milburn is a chance.

Dale Morris, Chris Newman, Jarrad Waite and Daniel Giansiracusa are eyebrow-raisers.
              We hate Anthony Rocca
              We hate Shannon Grant too
              We hate scumbag Gaspar
              But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

Re. Hall, taller players don't necessarily do well.

I reckon it's a great squad - small, quick, agile and generally good foot skills. Gives us a much better chance at winning, IMO.

Interesting that Matty Lappin is in the Australian squad but doesn't even have a club atm.

Didn't Jade Rawlings fall into the basket a couple of years ago and there was an issue about player insurance or something like that?

I think Baz would have been a shoe in if he'd wanted it. A big fast man they admitted they had no answer for. But he's injured and after the past month (tribunal, GF, media attacks then commitments and all) he may have had enough of footy for a while.

Um, ok, I give in - who the heck is Dale Morris? Sheedy's illegitimate son?

Not that I noticed but he played almost all year for the Doggies.
