How long do we have to wait to hear if he has put his pen to paper yet for the Swans?
Any word on Ryan O'Keefe??

Well given that he's in Perth this week you'd doubt he would be putting pen to paper. But allegedly a few Melbourne clubs have weighed in with big offers to lure him into the PSD. But you would also think that if he wanted out he would have allowed the club to trade to get something for him in return.LIFE GOES ONComment

Thought he had signed and faxed the document to the Club, until he actually got back home to sign the real deal. He was never going to be traded. Sydney just needed a pawn, and he happened to be off contract at the time. I would have done the same. Play your hand close.
He put his contract on lay-by in Hawaii. And you can't find nothing at all,

Surely his manager could sign on his behalf, under power of attorney. If O'Keefe was keen to get the deal done, it would be done. It looks increasingly as though he is trying to screw the club over and get his hands on some of that juicy cap surplus and AFL concession. He could well go into the PSD if he was dirty on the club - he may have even asked to be traded but the club said no...Comment

I hope he doesn't stuff the club around. They have put a lot of time, money and effort into him. They stood by him when he was having a hard time coping with his brother's death. If he walked out now, with the club getting nothing in return, it would set all the hard work the Swans have done with retaining players in general, back years. Although the longer it drags on, the more suspicious it all becomes. To get nothing for him would be a disaster. If Hay was worth 2 first round picks, Ryan would be equally as valuable. I hope he stays and proves the "no d........" policy correct.---------||--ANNE--||----------Comment

Plenty of people do this for business while they are away on holiday.
