Yeah the scores seem to be what I recalled. I was on exercise at Shoalwater Bay, near Rockhampton, so only heard the final score and wrap up on ABC. My ex taped it and I watched it in rapture when I got back from the exercise.

That game & an earlier one vs Freo I'd rate as the worst AFL games I've ever been forced to sit thru. I remember after the Freo game, a journo asked Rocket if the 1st qr was the worst qr of football ever played - Eade shook his head emphatically and declared "No, the first half was the worst half of football ever played". Nice to know he could have a sense of humour at times.

I rated this as the game that set us up in 2003 it was a definning game we had to win as we were 1- 3 If my memory is working... Neitz smashed us early might have had 5 up to half time?

I think we won the next 6 - 7 games or 6 - 7 out of 8?

Some bloke called Darren Jolly kicked five goals against us in that game. So you can say that game had big ramifications for 2005, too.

I laughed when I saw that too - he must have just fitted into the "no d*ckheads' policy. Maybe Aker is the perfect hair score of 100 and if you come in at under 70 you have a chance.

Good think Pebbles has tidied up his act before the contract is signed. The Alice look (and the stalkers) may have been the sticking points.
