You're not the only one...that's why I keep coming here, I've learnt so much that doesn't make the papers...oh yeah you have to buy the papers before you can read them
As far as I know Fixter has not officially delisted. The AFLTN has an apparent habit of (wrongly) filling in gaps in their article. However, it seems clear that neither he nor the club expect him to be a Swan.
Although... Monty trained with Carlton two years ago, and he was of course picked up again.
We hate Anthony Rocca
We hate Shannon Grant too

Very strange indeed, there are plenty of players who are told they are delisted but it is not announced until the deadline.
Would seem the AFL website has saw that he is training at the Lions and just automatically thought he was delisted.
But I do have another theory!!!!!!
Maybe Roos wants to see how he is going at present and has hitched a deal with the Lions to let him train with them until the delisting deadline (we are at least another 3 weeks away from getting back on the track). If he gets through and is able to stand up then we don't delist him and he comes back to Sydney to train with us. Out there but you never know.

Why on earth would the Lions agree to that? There is nothing in it for them. At worst it would give a Swans player direct insight into what the Lions do at training and the abilities of their players (especially some of the younger, less exposed players).

Yes I can't see the merits of that theory either??
