I'm still wearing at least one article of Swans clothing everyday...although I go back to work today so I might have to wait until I get back from work today...maybe it's time to get that Tattoo done
I can't wait for the season to start again. Usually I welcome the break as a rest from an exhausting, but ultimately disappointing, season. This year is so different.I wonder if it's always like this after your team actually wins.

You got me. I hope the team don't suffer from a premiership hangover.

If they're feeling like I do, they will be hungry for back to back from the very first bounce.

I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.
Yes definitely still on cloud nine, feel so much contentment.
Being in QLD, it is too too hot to wear my Swans gear, but it wouldn't mean anything here anyway, waiting for my place to sell then I will be running around (call it a delayed reaction) ha ha Melbourne with my gear on.
God I am just so proud of them, what a team!!!!!
Go Swans, maybe another next year??? this time with me cheering them on.
Yesterday I got a card from a kid I met at the pre-season game in Newcastle. I sent him some Swans stuff, so he had my address. Anyway, he (with his mother's help) sent a "yay we won!!!" card, and also a clipping from when I was in the paper.
It brought back a million good memories. It's so nice to be part of such a lovely "winter family". I miss everyone!!!!
I bought a 'Feel the Beat' wristband at the last home game and got a white 'Courage' band the next day to go with it. I said I would wear them as long as the Swannies remained in the finals.
I'm still wearing them but the white one is now grey. I swear it isn't sweat, it's just body heat changing the composition of the rubber
Regardless, I can't bring myself to take them off ... ever.
The mate that I went to the GF with came over last nite for a barbie & we watched the last qr on DVD, me for about the 15th time, he for the 1st! Reminisced, laffed & generally talked about what great blokes we are...fun times indeed.
Last night I watched the last quarters of the finals games against Geelong and the Saints again. Tonight I'll watch the entire GF again. I dont think I will ever get sick of seeing any of those games.
Re that awesome 4th quarter against Geelong, I think that the crowd noise exceeds that of the crowd noise in the last quarter of the 96 prelim final.

I always find it hard to compare but yeah, both times I yelled myself hoarse. Problem is I can't maintain more trhan five Cheer Cheer renditions immediately after yelling so much.
Gotta love DVD's. Especially Grand Final ones. particularly this year's.
