    How far can Bucky go?

    Amon Buchanan has had a stellar year culminating in a BOG Grand Final performance and selection in the IR team.

    The question now is how far can he go from here? Will he become an even greater force next year with his ball winning ability and become an elite player/All-Australian? Or will he just stay consistent as he has been this year?

    What do you expect from him in 2006?

                          His GF was just fantastic. In true Swans-supporter style I'm trying not to expect too much from him next year to save myself from the disappointment. It's pretty hard though. If he can play with the intensity and hardness that he displayed in the GF and in a bursts throughout other games he will have an amazing year. Can he do it though? We'll have to wait and see.

                                          I agree with Scott that the one area he needs to improve is his goalkicking accuracy. His other skills will continue to develop and he could become a true champion player and maybe a Brownlow contender.

                                                          Really, disposal by foot is his critical weakness as has been mentioned.

                                                          To become truly elite he needs to be pinpoint off both feet and to perhaps his marking skills - whilst not a deficiency per se, it'd be great for him to play a bit taller, a la B1 who is a great mark for his size.

                                                          He has guts, smarts, stamina and run. I've never seen a bloke cop more head hits than him.
