Straight after the Grand Final I ordered three posters from sydneyswans.com.au. I received a confirmation and receipt from Playbill. My credit card was charged and to me this meant they were on the way.
After three weeks I phoned to find out where they were I had to ring Playbill who I believe handle all the sales at sydneyswans.com.au I got a very rude and sullen woman telling me they would be mailed out sometime next week, I said that wasn't good enough and I received them three days later which means they must have been mailed straight after my phone call.
I paid for three posters and received four. One of them was in good condition, the other three were damaged. The cylinder was in perfect condition meaning that the posters were damaged before they were sent.
Today I received one more poster, this was by receipted mail and I had to drive to the post office to pick it up, the carton was in poor condition, it was clear that the ends had not been sealed properly and an attempt had been made to repair by Australia Post. The one poster is actually in good condition.
I emailed the club after my initial problem with Playbill and they have not acknowledged my email at all.
What annoys me most of all is that the Melbourne Office had them for sale shortly after I placed the online order, and now both posters are available at the local Balls and Bumpers shop.
So be careful if you intend to order from sydneyswans.com.au as they do not handle the merchandise themselves, whereas I believe the Melbourne office handle all their own merchandise sales!
