Yet again, Channel 9 have proven that they are not a fit and proper organisation to hold the AFL TV rights.
If they didn't want to show it at a civilised hour, they could have at least let Fox Footy show it live. @@@@ing dog-in-the-manger bull@@@@.

Well, Cher, JS and I were there. It was very different from AFL much faster and a lot more agressive.

We sat on Level 2 and as we normally sit in the Cheer Squad we found that we had too much to look at. It was a good night though

Although the game had the desired result I have real concerns that this may be the last series due to a number of facts.
The main concern is that the Aussies talk the talk and walk the walk but each year when under the pump they end up resorting to violence.Chris Johnson last night was a disgrace and although the Irish do give a bit back it always seems to be the Aussies with the out and out thuggery acts, think past years Matthew Scarlett and Jason Akermanis.
I watched the game on TV and thought the commentators were ordinary as well saying a number of times "It's on behind play" only to see the incident and see 2 blokes pushing each other.Dwayne Russell at one stage suggested that Milburn has thrown the best punch he has ever thrown only to see him push the Irish guy over.
The third concern is the Irish referee.Last night they changed refs pre-game and I could see why with an obvious bias towards the Irish but at least ROK made him earn his money.
In reference to the Swans players they were all great with Nick Davis in the top group of kickers of the round ball and that includes the Irish.Congrats to all the indigenous players who I think were excellent and the main reason the Aussies won so comfortably due to their smarts, pace and evasion skills.
I FEEL THE NEED FOR SPEED!!!!!

Didn't want to offend anyone...I was referring to me getting off my bum...but my daughters were ringing from Adelaide so I watched it without the sound

I too thought Johnson was ridiculous in his actions...should have been sent off for the whole game, never to play again for Australia. On the other hand, the Irish have to stop the soccer style writhing on the ground in agony any time they were touched.

The umpiring was abbysmal by the Irish guy. The first ROK free in our game would have been 50m for kicking the ball away, but he gets a free kick for doing it. A little later one of the Irish ducked his head and head butted McLeod in the back when McLeod was shepherding and got a free kick for too high All in all I thought it was a good game, but I think it is unfair to blame the Aussies for all of the rough and behind play incidents, the Irish were just as much to blame IMO. But I will have a look at it again ...with the audio and see if I see it differently this time.

Is there a replay stream available from telstra like the home and away season?
1.20am was just too late after a big week...

the Aussies newfound accuracy helped them take the lead two minutes into the second quarter, when Nicky Davis hit an over.
Cullen was called into action again minutes later when he produced a good save low to his right to deny Nicky Davis a goal.
                            Nicky D is going international!

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
