we have a significant shortage of in and under players atm...
our current stocks consist of:
cressa
j. bolton
kirk
fixter
o'keefe
kirk has been playing excellently as a tagger and has been kept quiet when played on an outside runner such as headland and goodwin... i think its no coincidence that when cresswell and fixter were out injured, o'feefe is out of form and kirk was nullified as an in and under player when he was playing on an outside player that our clearances suffered as this only left bolton to do the dirty work and he isnt ready to carry those responsibilities by himself... with the return of cressa and kirk playing on players that get closer to the ball, our midfield has looked 10 times more effective... so once fixter returns and o'keefe returns to a bit of form we will have 5 good in and under players... does that require us to target another in and under onballer with the retirement of cresswell?
thoughts?
ps i suspect schneider could become an effective in and under player as well with his tenacity and skills would make a very good onballer
