Campbell went to the Sainters for a year, IIRC. Played a few games and was subsequently delisted.Originally posted by Jeffers1984
Another one springs to mind. What ever happened to Fred Campbell? mmm I miss the days when we had an exciting small Aboriginal forward. It definately brought me to the games when i was younger.Comment

The local press at Campbelltown reports Robbie Ahmat has been recruited to the Kangas.
Also noted that Balmain announced David Yole as new assistant coach on their website but had removed the report later in the day. Was this an early April Fools joke?

He went to the NT League for a while but is now at Campbelltown in the SFL where he is struggling big time to make an impression at all. You would never guess that guy used to play first grade footy and wasnt too bad at one stage.Originally posted by Jeffers1984
What happend too....ROBBIE AHMAT?! He was a clever little player and my favourite at the Swans since he joined from the wobbles.
I have a total mind blank on what happened to him. I think he left after 2001 and had some personal issues (stalker or something) that ended his career.
I still love watching his goal in 2000 where he ran from 30 metres in his back half and going all the way down the field to kick that goal.- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!Comment
