Campbell went to the Sainters for a year, IIRC. Played a few games and was subsequently delisted.

This is sort of related.....in the GF replay during the celebrations the camera cut to some guy clapping in the stands. For a moment I thought it was Stafford....anyone know?

The local press at Campbelltown reports Robbie Ahmat has been recruited to the Kangas.

Also noted that Balmain announced David Yole as new assistant coach on their website but had removed the report later in the day. Was this an early April Fools joke?

I have a total mind blank on what happened to him. I think he left after 2001 and had some personal issues (stalker or something) that ended his career.

I still love watching his goal in 2000 where he ran from 30 metres in his back half and going all the way down the field to kick that goal.

He went to the NT League for a while but is now at Campbelltown in the SFL where he is struggling big time to make an impression at all. You would never guess that guy used to play first grade footy and wasnt too bad at one stage.
