 See You There

I'll be the noisy little one in a raggedy Swans jumper with a tattered number 8 on the back......

I hope they haven't put curtains up in the warm down rooms yet

I'll be there, as will my big flag. I may even try getting a drum into the ground.

What do you reckon we bags the portable seats up the back on the outer side. Then we can all sit together, have all the flags waving in the same area. AND, most importantly, give support to our boys.

I'll find out where the Cheer Squad is sitting, so you can arrange to get seats in the same area.

Those of you living in Canberra, it may be best for you to get there early to nab these seats for us.

Here are pix of the ground from last year, so that you have a perception of what the ground looks like.

 Yeah, why not

Can't quite afford an away trip now, but Canberra is cheap in comparison to going to Brisbane or Melbourne! GA tickets for me.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Considering, general admission- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!Comment

I hate going to Canberra...such a dull place with no heart or guts (hmmmmmm......sounds a perfect place to relocate those doggies) but the prospect of wallopping those roos has got me checking the train and bus timetables..."Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."Comment

Brycey the train station is in Kingston, already on the south side of Canberra. To get to the ground you'd have to catch a bus into Civic and then back over the bridge to Manuka. It simply isn't worth it. A cab fare would cost $6-7 to Manuka from the station. Between 3 people, it'd be nothing!Originally posted by Beaussie
Going down by train. Does anyone know what the public transport situation is from Canberra rail station to the ground and back?

 Cheers
