Don't ever let him up forward - one of the worst set shots for goal I've ever seen (even worse than Barry Round when he was at his worst)Last edited by Mark Busuttil; 6 November 2005, 12:34 PM.2005 will live forever (or until we win another premiership)

A good player now, whatever he was in the past, though I reckon he showed potential enough from the start to justify being a project player. We all know how well he went in September. He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

His debut game in 2003 against Geelong is coming up this Friday on Fox Footy. Well worth the look as it was an impressive debut (despite shonking his first ever kick).Official Driver Of The "Who Gives A @@@@ As The Player Will Get Delisted Anyway" Bandwagon.

I agree, seems so stiff and uncoordinated & looks like becoming a rock in defence.

It's a shame he hasn't yet learnt the difference between the AFL and Australian football. In the article he called the game AFL about four times. It's wrong - it's like calling rugby league NRL.
I may be petty here, but the difference is important. If every kid in Sydney called Australian football AFL, then it can be difficult to promote the idea in Sydney that it's possible to play and watch Australian football but not the AFL. If the distinction is made, then it's easier to promote the idea of playing and watching Australian football at the grassroots level in Sydney."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

Sorry but LRT is just not a straight kick. I have not seen any shots for goal (including Mick at the GF) be as bad as the 2 in a row that LRT kicked against Melbourne at Tesltra Dome at night (forget which round).2005 will live forever (or until we win another premiership)

Dunkley was an ugly kick, but at least they mostly went straight. Dunks kicked a few goals too - played up forward early in his career (big mark he was)

I think you'll find that the game is specifically marketed as AFL (ironically by the AFL, which deems itself to be the guardian of the game), especially up here in Sydney.
The directive was ostensibly from NSWAFL (or whatever they called themselves back then - I forget now)Comment
