    Best Footy Quote

What happened to the guy who always used to say "Come Swans this is our Premiership Year" & the other guy "Back to the Lake"
2005 will live forever (or until we win another premiership)

Not related...but I like the late Jack Dyer's description of a guy who was ampidextrous..."He's amphibious, he can kick with both feet".

But remember in Jack Dyer's day most grounds were under water so being amphibious was an advantage
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Or saying that Salmons arms are like testacles (tentacles) or when Geelong were being flogged the team copulated (capitulated).
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

More importantly, to the people who have waited seventy two years to see South Melbourne slash Sydney Swans win the premiership...HERE IT IS.

I'm very impartial to "Leo Barry, YOU STAR!!!"

Kind of rolls off the tounge.

I watched the highlights of the Swans year on AFL.com.au. Hearing that and seeing it again still gives me shivers up the spine...is this normal?
