Describe your Grand Final week (300 words or less)

Club is doing the time capsule in 200 - why don't we do one.
Is there anybody that was at Lindsey Hasset Oval after the Prelim Final. Did a pizza run & brought some vouchers & then stood round a fire & got smoke in our eyes for rest of the night (my cousin Dave made a racket-sorry if he woke you up). IT WAS BLOODY COLD too. Made some great friends that I sat next to on GF day.
In 96, I remember the whole leadup but not much after the game. This time I remember more about the game & after it. We sang at the Casino til 2am & was back at Lindsey Hassett the following day. I was sooooo happy but soooo broke from buying lots (my wife is going to leave me if I buy much more).
I could fill this page with the heartbreak over the last 20 years & the joy of this GF win, but I'll give others a chance.
2005 will live forever (or until we win another premiership)

    GO BLOODS!!!!!!!!

GF Week (and the PF week beforehand) was the only time in 10 years I have lost weight through not eating caused by nervousness for the Swans PF & GF respectively (and the B.Hall case) - enough said......

The minute after the GF (and before and during the game) was one big debaucherous 4-5 days of junk food and booze, emotion, relief, tiredness and eventually flu-ridden from the body having had too much......
Well somebody told me, You had a boyfriend, Who looks like a girlfriend,That I had in February of last year, It's not confidential, I've got potential

Somebody told me, The Killers, Hot Fuss, 2004.

Likewise - I just couldn't eat much at all and lost 2 kg that week (and I weigh less than 50 as it is). As soon as it was over and we won my appetite returned. In fact I can never eat before games. It all seems so long ago now and I just can't wait for next year - I want to experience it all again!

Must admit, I lost a kilo or two aswell.

I expect the players felt something like we did.

But at least I didn't sook after the game.

I'm the opposite, I eat when I'm nervous. Usually don't get too nervous before games, but the PF and GF were different. I am now on a diet to lose some of those extra kilos

words cant describe how fantastic the entire fortnight from the Preliminary final to the GF on to the B&F dinner was - an experience I will cherish and never forget. And met some terrific people along the way.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Yeah me too. I think I put on 5kg in the week prior. Lost about 3kg by running around after the game hugging people. Then put another 3kg on by drinking my weight in alcohol in the week after the game. Then lost about 2kg in tears due to watching replays of the final Qtr.

                      Ahh the memories

On the Monday I arranged a meeting in melbourne for Friday morning so I didn't have to pay for the flights or accomodation. I used the money I saved for purchasing beer on game day
