    Swans Coaches

What are your thoughts on our coaching panel for 2006?

Does anyone predict any changes to key personnel?

Do you believe in specialist coaching?

I was wondering when their contracts were up and given they are now coaches of a Premiership Team may attract offers back in Melbourne (Longmire/Jonas).

I thought with our kicking accuracy (2005 Game Ave 12.6 Goals 11 Behinds) we could do with some more focus on our kicking and LRT still needs help.

To stay one step ahead of the competition the Club should always be looking at ways to further improve itself. One way I suppose would be to look at further enhancing the Coaching group. Perhaps some specialised members, such as kicking, tackling etc. Good Idea.

Jonas was mentioned when the Crows job came up last year so he might be in line for a senior position if one comes up soon.

All other clubs seem to be making additions/changes to their coaching personnel and strategies.

That's why I thought our panel could be ripe for the poaching!

Are you advocating change for the sake of change?

We were happy to keep all but one from the GF team, why is that any different with the coaching staff?

I'm not saying what is right or wrong, just wondering what others think

I reckon they should get rid of the flooding coach, he has done his job and is not longer required.

Can he be changed into a swimming coach?

No, but maybe explore options as to improving the set-up. You have to keep progressing to stay ahead of the pack.

Wasn't 2006 the real target year for a flag? If so why change the coaches given they were probably the ones put in place to produce that result.
