    2 year deal - I was right

Just reading through some past newspaper articles i have and i read an article that states:

"Schneider signs new 2 year deal" in 2003.

He said he is now contracted, in 2003, for another 2 years which means his contract should have run out. Havent heard anything on the swans site. Just interesting considering everyone jumped down my throat when I said he was contracted till 2005 and everyone else said 2006.
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

Well, with all the talk about how important ROK is to our forward line structure, I think Schneider could well be equally important as the only genuine crumber (now Bucky's found his spot in the middle), and we all saw his talent in the preliminary final. IMO Schneider > Milne. Best comparison I can think of, Milne's kicked more goals as pretty much a permanent small forward, but Schneider looks to have more potential and talent.

So I am sure he will be re-signed, if not already.

Unless of course he signed a contract extension after 2003 - which is entirely possible given that was his "break-out season".

I have no idea, either way, but your 'evidence' is not conclusive.

        It doesn't matter.

He is either a) signed up for 2006 or b) he isn't signed, but there has been no speculation of his departure... which you would expect for any 21 year old premiership player in dispute with his club.

Considering he signed the forementioned contract a week or so out from the finals series in 2003 im not sure he would have signed an extension contract a few weeks later!
