Only scraps left in draft

Reported on Herald sun website in the draft analysis that Ricky Barham has stated that by the time Swans have a go there will only be scraps left.

I got a feeling that he just might be foxing.

Sydney recruiting boss Rick Barham has again been traded out of the high picks by his match committee, so will bide his time and try to pick a needle out of a haystack.
The Swans have added Ted Richards and Paul Chambers and elevated three rookies.
"We will take three players. It is a praying game," Barham said. "We will just get the scraps."
Sydney has no unlisted players training with them and will not take part in the national draft, but will pick up several NSW rookies as is customary.

Scraps? I really don't like that word when referring to the draft. Picky I may be, but these boys are more than a number or the bottom of the heap.

I have a soft spot for the roughies. And we have a pretty good modern record when it comes to achieving with these so-called 'roughies'... and I have every faith that this will continue.

Interesting that Adelaide thinks there could be top 20 talent as low as 62...tho I'm not entirely certain I follow their logic.
