Actually, if it WAS the end of the ratings period, they'd be splitting the show in half and say it was the season finale.

Then you'd have to wait til next year to see the rest of it. Isn't that the way Packer likes to do it?

In Melbourne maybe, but not in Sydney. Football's one of the only reasons I watch the commercial networks anyway.

            No.

You'd see LAST YEAR'S draft, as a special 'encore' showing! Then a reality show like "Aust Idol" or "Better Homes and iPods" or "Zapping Celebrities with Tazers" or "Pushing Out the Illegal Immigrants with a Bullwhip" would run 1/2hr over the scheduled time and you'd miss most of it because they need those ads for Chrysler to pay for the broadcast anyway.

I *think* it starts at 10:00AM - supposedly SEN 1116 are broadcasting live.

Probably better just to listen to it - any players we get won't be hyped up anyway.

Just got this of the AFL website:
"The 2005 National AFL Draft will be held at the Victory Room in Telstra Dome on Saturday 26th November at 10am."

Should be finished by about 5PM....

Your part is easy - just go to the pub for 10 or 12 hours till it's all over.

I don't drink, and there are only so many lemon squashes that you can drink...which would then be followed by a trip to the Family (divorce) court for not being there. I've been to the birth of my older 2 girls so don't plan on missing this one...
