A boy this time? Or will you keep trying?

Both my kids were caesars - the first after a 24 hour breech labour. The second was scheduled but we ended up waiting all day as more urgent cases claimed the OT.

      Ugh and EW!
People are trying to eat lunch here!
And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.

The "how to get a baby out" courses I went to were a total waste of time.

This one was OK but really didn't say much except for worst case scenarios

They definitely were for me - the doctor did all the work with his scalpel. None of the "Push!" stuff needed at all.

For Tuesday==>There sure was a lot of blood though. I got photos of it all!

They don't do the breathing and pushing exercises any more, just talk about the possibilities of what may happen...then a tour of the labour ward, see some new babies etc

They started cutting my mrs before the epidural had taken full effect.

                Now that is Ewwww.

It gives a different perspective when you watch the baby come out of your wifes innards rather than her, the natural way.

I didn't think to take the camera, but it would've only got splattered anyway. An I also learnt why the wear clogs to theatre......... just think "wading".

Well its nice to know that you chaps played a sort of kind of active part in the birth - I'm sure you all excelled at wetting the babies head with the mates afterwards.

Tammy was telling us that when she and her husband went to the classes the teacher person had a hell of a time with the baby/doll trying to show them how to breastfeed. Problem was that the dolls head kept falling off - so obviously breastfeeding causes decapitation.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
Chickens drink - but they don't pee!

                      Hmmm
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Would love a son, but I'll be happy as long as it is healthy when it is born
