Will one of the Vic club who passed pounce on the still unsigned ROK?

As he is not even due back at the club until next week, this thread is pointless.

As I have said previously, on his first day at training you will see him front the media confirming his new contract.

It's all about the PR people......................

Or perhaps he'll be taking a break?
And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.

If he was leaving for Collingwood the Melbourne press would be all over it like a kid with chicken pox.

I haven't heard a murmur down here so I doubt there is a problem. Also didn't I hear a while back that we had heaps of space in our salary cap.

How many senior players was it we lost off our list?

The rumour is that they might now draft Campo but the Tigers have heavily courted ROK ; don't know whether it will get them anywhere.

He would certainly be one of the pick-ups of the PSD - you'd think if he was really available there'd be plenty of press.

But surely it can't be about $$$ at this stage unless the Swans perceive trouble in paying an inconsistent HFF a motza with other premiership players yet to cash in?

Just so that the paranoid can keep tabs more easily, here is the list of clubs that kept space in their list and who (if anyone) is linked to that spot.

              Adelaide: 1 spot. Nobody linked.
Carlton: 1 spot, but Dylan McLaren a virtual certainty.
Collingwood: 1 spot. Suspected they'll try to trump Essendon to Camporeale. Or do they have another cunning plan?
Essendon: 2 spots. Camporeale (if available) and Chris Heffernan linked.
Hawthorn: 1 spot. Brent Guerra linked.
Kangaroos: 1 spot. Either Cameron Thurley or Shane Woewodin linked.
Port Adelaide: 1 spot. Nobody linked.
              Richmond: 1 spot. Nobody linked.
St Kilda: 1 spot. Nobody linked.
Brisbane, Fremantle, Geelong, Melbourne, West Coast, Western Bulldogs (and Sydney): No spots.

It would be an even bigger shock than him leaving, if he went to SA; and St Kilda would have no space in their cap to pay him. So the dark horse is Richmond!

(PS I don't actually believe this will happen; I'm just enjoying adding fuel to the fire.)

Does that mean we can now also say

Richmond: 1 spot. Ryan O'Keefe linked.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
