Which means it is still correct to say its Luke and Grubby...we really must have a rule to recruit only one player with a particular given name/surname
We have two Lukes, three Pauls, two Matthews (and a (Ben) Mathews), two Ryans, two Adams, two Nicks and a Nic (thank goodness Matthew Nicks has retired), a Jared, Jarrad and a Jarred (explains why Sunny had to go)
We have two Davis's....or is the plural of Davis, Davi?
We have two Boltons
We have Leo Barry and Barry Hall - why not just combine them into one player who can kick match winning goals and take match saving marksLast edited by ItsAllGoodes; 5 December 2005, 06:43 AM.Red and white till I dieComment

I didn't enjoy it as much as previous years. Too many people, lines to get signatures and buy merchandise were ridicluous, no shade and you just couldn't mingle and talk to the players and take photos with the kids as we had done in previous years. I guess it is the price of success. I hope all this interest translates into members. It certainly looks like it is translating into $$$. At least they didn't charge for a photo with the cup (not that we bothered to line up for it) anyway. Finally there were no competitions for kids like goal kicking etc. But my nephew still seemed to enjoy himself with Cyggy and Santa being highlights!---------||--ANNE--||----------Comment

There was a kick to kick for the kids with Paul Chambers after he came off stage, sure he's not Barry Hall but they did have something.
