    McVeigh aims to rebound

Let's hope he can cement a spot in our 22 next year or it could possibly be gawnskis.

Actually pretty happy with that article, because (presuming the quotes weren't written for him by the Swans' media team) it indicates that:
      a) he isn't happy with just being a fringe player; even at his fairly tender age he wants to be an automatic selection; and
      b) unlike some high draft picks/players with abundant natural talent, he doesn't view it as his divine right to be treated like a class above. He's prepared to accept that he's been sent back to the 2s for a reason and work to correct the problem.

Said it before and will probably say it again-- this guy has the native talent of a champion, is the style of midfielder we don't have many of, and we desperately need him firing as a 'top 4' midfielder come 2007 (or whenever Willo retires). 2006 will be a very big year.

Lucky us! If he produces results in his "step up" like Nicky D we will have big grins come September.

I just hope he shaves his head (will help aerodynamically also).

Some of his early form this year was excellent. I was watching the Sensational Swans DVD today and was impressed at some of the stuff he did early in the season

I hope he comes good. I have always thought he could play at the top level but hasn't seemed to have the chances.

He will lift, has to. Need the players now to lift again and stay ahead of every other club who is going to try and chase us down.
