    Goodes sticks it up Anderson

It is not only the coaches who have felt frustration with the changes being imposed on them. The players haven't felt part of the decision-making process and the changes either.

"With the [new] rules, the players are a little bit unsure why they have been brought in or why they haven't been asked if it's OK by them," Brownlow medallist Adam Goodes said.

"The players feel in a way that they are not part of the system.

"We feel like the AFL can just make any rule up and just please themselves."

Isn't it interesting how that now Roos is a premiership coach the media listens to him.

Goodes has a point - changes like that without consulting coaches and players? Come on.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

But that's the way the fat controller likes it, as long as he is in control everything is OK, according to him.

Yes the players should have been consulted, however, from a spectator's point of view I think the rule changes are great.
