    How many captains is ideal?

There will be more than one captain named. How many is ideal in your opinion? 1, 2, 3 or the whole leadership group?

I voted for 7 and look at the result 100% of people agree with me.

I think the whole captain issue is overrated (at least on this thread). But once again, on another demmed captains thread, my vote is for Hall for short term but I would prefer they went for a long term Captain and picked Goodes.

I think we need just one captain, Captain Kirk and get bolton (jude) ready to captain once kirky retires, or even if bazza get the job make sure Bolton is next in line....

I think I will be really sad for Kirky if he doesn't get it, Bazza had the pleasure of the grand final captain and now it is the real captain turn to take over

How many captains get 'sacked' after winning a flag? I think both Baz and Kirky would do an excellent job.

I have a feeling it will come down to promoting the game in Sydney over anything else as both are brilliant on-field leaders.

As Baz has the higher profile I think he will get the gig.

1 is my preference too BTW, but how can you argue with what Roosy wants??

I am happy to go along with whatever Roos thinks is best for the club. The fact we lost only 4 games with the rotation seems to indicate that it works.

Forwards, Backs and Centers Captains with rotating coin toss for the start of the game - to match the assistant coach setup! Captain of each working group. Of cause each group would need a deputy .... (Vice captain of the group....)

No Rock thank you. I have some Richmond supporters who are friends of mine. It might keep them away.

How about a poll about how many polls about the captaincy are required before a decision is made?
My choice would be 3 (forward, back and midfield) rotating as Rod said. were does that leave Goodsey though?
I would be happy with Goodsey or Kirk getting the job.
